Hi everyone,
Happy Wednesday night.
Just a quick note to thank you all for being here.
I received a notification from Substack that I hit the 1,000 Subscribers mark, and by the time I checked, it was at 1,017!
Not sure what to say other than thanks for coming, and thanks for sticking around.
This isn’t about me.
It’s about us.
You either subscribed after reading one of my articles on Medium or some of my nonsense on Twitter.
I have a unique perspective on life gained over 57 years of sitting on the outside looking in. Not that that’s a bad thing.
I was brought up my some pretty cool parents and grandparents that encouraged me to think differently.
To learn the system and then use it to my advantage.
I’ve started and sold a company (started and closed others), worked as an employee and as a contractor, and done some time as an unemployed single dad.
I’m primarily a software developer that spends most of my professional time leading software teams and designing products.
I also like to write.
And I’m learning to like camping (seeing different parts of the U.S. from a camper is pretty cool after all).
I’m here for you.
If you have a question - email me.
If you’d like to work with me one on one (career coaching, brainstorming, systems & software engineering issues) - email me.
If you’d just like to chat (coffee chats for the 100Devs crew are popular) - email me.
Seriously.
Thanks
Thanks again for everything. The fact that you’re a subscriber means the world to me.
Talk soon,
Travis
